Distribution: Balkan Peninsula, 1700-2800 m; alpine meadows, rocks crevices, rocky or stony slopes or screes.
Shrublet mat-forming up to 5 cm tall. Leaves linear 0,3-0,8 mm wide. Inflorescences capitate. Flowers 5-7 mm across, pink-purple, calyx often purple. Fl. VI-VII.
