Distribution: mountains of southern and central Europe; fields, pastures, low peat bogs, on limestone substrate.

Perennial up to 6-12 cm tall. Stem unbranched. Leaves in rosette evergreen, leathery, stem leaves few, opposite. Flowers single, up to 60 mm long, white. Fl. IV-VI.

 

Verbreitung: Gebirge von Süd- und Mitteleuropa ; Felder, Weiden, niedrige Torfmooren, auf Kalkstein.

Staude bis 6-12 cm hoch. Blätter in der Rosette immergrün , ledrig, Stängelblätter wenige, gegenüber. Blüten einzeln, bis zu 60 mm lang, weiß. Bl. IV-VI.

Distribution: SE France, N Italy, N former Yugoslavia, 1690-2200 m; grasslands, screes, rock crevices.

Perennial up to 15-20 cm high. Leaves evergreen, silvery, up to 5 cm diameter. Flowers 20-25 mm diameter, pale pink to white. Fl. V-VII.

Distribution: Spain, France.

Seedlings, seeds collected in Montenegro, in Komovi Mountains.

Tufted perennial, subacaulescent. Flowering stems 7-15 cm long, erect. Leaf blades orbiculate, deeply 5-lobed. Inflorescence dense, structured from racemes. Flowers with reddish or dark rose, campanulate hypanthium, dark reddish at apex sepals and spreading, pink, 2-2.5 mm long petals. Fl. VI-VII.
