Distribution: S and E Alps, 2500 m; crevices of limestone rocks.

Perennial tufts- or clump-forming up to 10-12 cm tall. Stems erect. Flowers in racemes 2-4 cm long, violet/lilac-blue, 10-12 mm long, V-VI.
